Hi guys

thanks for the replies, downloaded those manuals, cheers

so far so good managed to loosen the big nut and now waiting for the postman,

I checked the frame number and the last 2 digits are 60,

daft question are the 1987 and 1988 bikes exactly the same when looking for bikes that are being broken?

Pretty much, some revisions internally such as cams / pistons / etc between models but mostly everything fits, if you are messing deep in the engine might be worth making sure you get the same parts..

Some of the early 24's had 112/115 jets while the later ones had 115's all around.

Erm.. frame number wise I needed it all except the last two digits :)

Should either be a type 7 or 8 ^^ depending on if it has been painted or not.

Should be on a D plate if it was registered proprly.

Yup, he most certainly is especially on matters pertaining to NC21/24s, I believe he is now branching out into 'other' bike now, even ones that don't begin with the letter H :o

His spelling might leave a little to be desired though
