HRC Rearsets

Post by Spike16 »

Been offered some brand spanking new HRC rearsets (most bits are still in the bags) for a very decent price (around the £125 mark) does anyone know have any experiance with these sets? how well do they hold up in a drop and are they as impossible as i can imagine to get spares for?

Perhaps they are 06506 NL5 OOO, RC45 Kit, that fit RC45, RC30, and I believe NC30/35 with a bit of spacing and gear lever rod adjustment.

If so, parts are available, but at a price.

someones having you on matey,i did ask about fitting 750 rearsets but was told they are near enough miles out

i really doubt there could be HRC rearsets out there and no one on this forum has came across them before now

but rearsets at that price is still fairly good going ....

The RC45 kit rests fit the NC35, I have seen them and the fixing centres are correct for NC30.

Whether they give the desired postion may depend on the rider, but they will be higher with more ground clearance but more forward I think.

Arrangements will be needed for heat shield [carbon] , hydraulic stop light switch, gear rod length, hangar spacing.

yeh sure il post some pic's when college is over, they are the RC45 sets but he said he purchased them for his nc30 and never fitted them, ended up using the levers for his street fighter bike, so whats the verdict? to buy or not to buy?

(or to buy and flog to someone with a rc45  )

Are the levers included? If not I would not bother.

Compare them with your original ones to see where the foot pegs will end up, I think they will be further forward, but higher.

What type of peg are they, normal half round serrated top. or round tubular.

If you dont want them, I may be interested in them as spares.
