What model of mikuni's for my GK73A?
Had a couple issues with my bike starting, was just back firing etc. I managed to sort it out (turned out to be a spark plug, it has denso ones it so gonna replace these with NGK's)
Now that i have it running i think i have some fuelling problems, baring in mind the bike hasn't been started and ran properly in a few years, so just wondering if anyone can help me by giving me the model number for the carb's and also any info on what the settings should be for idle and mixture etc. I will also be replacing the o rings aswell.
Thanks
Kev

ok so i have my carbs off and have managed to get them stripped out.
How much o rings should be in each carb? i have counted 3. there is 2 on the float assembly and 1 on the pilot screw. i thought there are meant to be o rings where the emulsion tube and slide assembly is aswell?
can anyone clarify this?

Should be 4, sounds like you missed the same one as me when I did mine. One goes between the carb top and main body.

yeah im aware of the one in the diaphram section so yeah it will be 5 in total counting that one, im guessing alot of people overlook these. My carbs are really dirty aswell, especially inside the float chambers
but mines was missing the o rings on the bottom of the slide assembly where the emulsion tube goes in.
variablevalves i can mind you saying in your email that you do the o ring kits, i will have one of these kits off you if you dont mind.
Also where can i get replacement needles, jets and emulsion tubes for the carbs as i cant find them anywhere, is it worth getting a dynojet kit? only problem i see is they kits are for the gsf 400 only.
Thanks
