Could you say why you picked some of the places you visited on the map as i have sort of urm pinched your route to a certain extent for a trip for the wife and myself next year

Let me get on it.. I asked for the thread to be moved into the members rides section - as this would be pruned and I'd lose my essay.

I'll knock out a new thread when I get some time..but the route was picked by looking at the twisty roads with a view to getting to Pisa..
