Spark plugs discoloured? flat spots? bogging?
code2006 wrote:Hi guys does anyone know what jet sizes r in the kit and how much the kit is worth?
I have a STD bike with a tyga carbon shotgun exhaust and I need jets .
Thanks Alex

that's not reason in itself dude - I was asking how the bike is running that makes him suspect it requires jetting.

112's on a RVF are standard issue when fitting a full system on a NC, its common knowledge to upjet a size with the setup he has.
I guess the reason why he's thinking it needs upjetting is that he's read various threads on here suggesting he does so and at first got upjetting confussed with the HRC kit and the NC30 which needs different sized jets due to different carbs.

Yep that's the reason
Pipe is not on the bike yet coz I broke an exhaust bolt

fair enough - personally though, I'd fit it and see how it performs first. Assuming it doesn't lead to any horrible flat spots in the rev range, ride it for 60 miles or so and check the plugs. If they ain't the right colour then I'd worry about jetting.
Never been much for that "because they say so" type thinking - every bike is different.
(..but then I guess, so is every rider...

Thats a fair point spoonmanand in general thats the way its done but this has been discussed over the years on the forum with proven results of what works and what doesnt. Of course dyno time is the only way to perfect the fueling but your not going to be far off with the info on the forum.
Some users on here have put years into the development of the NC, some great stuff on here.

What jets are in there now? Did you fit the exhaust or was it already fitted? Is it a full system / just the endcan / rear pipes?
Airbox / filter standard still?
Have you ridden it? Are you getting a hole in the middle or at the top end, i've found with some end-cans a shim under the needles will richen up the mid-range and the top-ends been ok.. more-so full systems benefit better from 112's to maximise the top end..
Tbh you won't be far away with either, might be worth getting a set of 112's and taking it down to the dyno's, get a run with the standard set-up and if it's lean drop in the 112's and go from there.. :-)

Ok ATM it's a STD bike with a STD airbox/filter.
What's going on is a full tyga twin shotgun exhaust with carbon cans .
Not fitted yet as I broke the exhaust stud so got to et that sorted before I can fit it

Aaah... :-)
I'd go with the 112's then and get it on a dyno for fine tuning
