nc35 + tyga shotgun full system = rejeting ?
hi i was wondering if my carbs would need to be rejetted if i fitted the tyga Full twin stack stainless steel (shot gun style) system with carbon cans on my nc35?

yes quite likely, standard are 108's i would poss look at a 110 front, 112 rear setup.

I have an NC35 with a full single Tyga exhaust system the air box / airfilter is std but I have the different HRC tubes fitted with the 110 / 112.5 jet setup and a single quick dyno run at the top it is still a little lean looks like I may have to go up 112.5 / 115. I would buy a pair of each size so everything is there when you decide to do the work, I would like to say now I have hunted the forum and the net and I have never found a one off place with NC35 jetting data that can be trusted 110 /112.5 is the general opinion but people jump in with NC30 setups etc and no conclusions which to me would be needle settings and if idle jets had to be changed. This should be listed info in a reference page NC30 and NC35 separately. Other info like air filter mods, HRC air tray, air box snorkel in or out, HRC air box lid what effect they have and what to do would be good as well someone must have the reliable info.

I will have to ask this are you being smart with me or do you really want to know?.
I like the NC35 very much but my work has always been with Suzuki's and fuel injection road racing (TT) and Track (BSB) I have working knowledge with traction control, stepper motors, blippers, air bleed systems etc.. Carbs is new to me and the 400's in road racing are normaly NC30's. The southern 100 race this year in the isle of man had some good NC30's and a couple of NC35's but with air scoops and race bodywork the info from them is not much good for road and one off track day rider.
Do you have any info to help this guy? that is "code2006" the person that asked the question, "superlite" was the guy I was trying to find out if he was genuine or being smart.

Which guy ? the original poster or someone else ? i think i gave a starting point to the OP with sizes to try and as you know each bike will be slightly different, but the 110/112 setup is a good starting point.rturkington wrote:

If you mean advice on a ram air setup with tyga pipe and other mods, perhaps starting a thread of your own. Abrmoto is quite likely to be able to offer some sound advice on various RVF setups, he seems to have owned most RVF's in the uk (and every other bike too) at one point in time

A ram air setup for the road seems to be more stress than its worth in the majority of cases, i cant recall a perfect setup in over 10 years for a road bike. however if you want to keep us abreast of your progress i bet there are plenty who would appreciate the findings.

Thanks guys for recommendations for jet sizes. I will try and order all of them. What jet sizes does the hrc kit have btw?

I've had this thought also, but there are way too many variables when it comes to fuelling, especially given that very minor induction changes (e.g. different brand air filters) on these bikes can cause big fuelling need differences. Each bike can respond differently, in the end it can be less costly and time consuming for (less experienced) peeps to take the bike to a dyno. Generally I think that most jetting settings are known within this forum for most type of setups on either bike (standard, road, hrc, ram air, etc), but it's still sometimes a bit hit and miss depending on some other variables.
If you're after any more specific jetting information just start a thread.
As for the original post: I would go for 112's all round.
