Temp on NC30

Post by Spoilt01 »

Hi Guys,

Wanted to find out whats the normal temp the NC30's run at during different driving conditions?
Im in Cape Town so its not always cold by us. Usually normal driving the temp sits quiet low and
when driving in between thick traffic it goes up till the 2nd line (90) mark and usually stays there.

However this morning driving in heavy traffic it went up until the half way mark. I was driving a bit hard before
hitting the traffic so she was prob a bit hot.

Can you maybe tell me whats the "normal" temp on the NC30 (Where the needle usually lays)?

Thanx!

Well im in Kimberley my temp gauge sits on half when riding hard (high revs to dodge traffic when im late for something) and 70/90 when riding normal low speeds so to me its seems normal

Start worrying when it gets in the red!

Forget it otherwise, these engines run hot at low speed.

do the "switch mod" for the fan, I have mounted one (will take a picture this evening and post it here).
When the temp goes above 90 in traffic (London), I flick the switch and within a few yards the temp goes back down to slightly above the 70 mark.

This is where the switch is, it is easy to reach while riding.
