air box removal and k& n filters

can you help ?????
has any one removed the air box on a 1992 super four nc31 ??
how is it done ??????
has any one fitted k& n pod filter to end of carbs instead of air box if yes did you have to rejet the carb ???
this is my next mod to my bike can any one advice me thanks

I haven't got k&n pods, but I'm pretty sure if you go from standard airfilter to open filter pods you will have to rejet the carbs, if you don't the mixture will be very lean/poor and you might end up wrecking your engine.
A replacement k&n filter doesn't need a rejet.
