17" rear wheel onto an NC23

Hi all, does anybody know if a 17" rear wheel from a CBR400 NC29 can be put on an NC23?
I just found this, someone quoting from the old greybike forum: "An NC29 rim (with spacers, disc & sprocket) fits direct into an NC23. No need for additional washers or spacers or such." True?

yep,true
to make the wheel easier to fit tho...
on the inside of the rear caliper mount,you will see a couple of raised bumps(technical term) you will see them..file them off flush. as sometimes the disc catches on them making it frustrating to fit on.
you can fit the wheel without the little mod ...but its better if you do it.
