Another jetting question
Yes i have used the search function with many different attempts and still cant find a simple answer so am posting his thread for the inteligent among you.
Nearly finished my rebuild of my nc35 and just need to fiddle about a bit here and there to complete it.
Simple question is what jets should do me justice if any appart from whats already fitted.
Bike is completely standard and original from airbox and filter to complete exhaust and has just had new filter oil and plugs but have just fitted a quill carbon straight through can so was wondering if i should rejet now if so what to or shall i just continue running with the standard jets that are in there..
Not looking for it to go 500 mph in 2 seconds just hate the look of the standard can so changed it for the quill
All suggestions greatfully appreciated

I moved up to 115s and should possibly go to 118s with the same set up, except for a tyga straight through can.
Good luck and have fun

I'm with CRM on this one - start at 110s all round. Cheap and easy to up jets from there if you have to. Seat of the pants

118s (5 size increase) would be a tad on the rich side with just an end can I reckon (assuming you have a standard airbox/filter).Harvd wrote:I moved up to 115s and should possibly go to 118s with the same set up, except for a tyga straight through can.

Re: Another jetting question
Yeah i have been running it on 115s for 1000km now and with raised needles (added 0.5mm shim) i think im either on it or slightly lean. The needles helped big time though to get rid of the popping and crackling off throttle (signs of lean running?)superlite wrote:118s (5 size increase) would be a tad on the rich side with just an end can I reckon (assuming you have a standard airbox/filter).Harvd wrote:I moved up to 115s and should possibly go to 118s with the same set up, except for a tyga straight through can.
