scorpion can nc21
Hi,
I have both the original and a scorpion can for my nc21, but the bike seems to rev better with the original. Would a rolling road tune sort it out for the scorpion can, or is it something I can do at home?
Would the scorpion can liberate a few bhp if the setup is correct?
The scorpion can sounds evil, if I go past a cop I do it on part throttle and in a tall gear, and they still look over...
I suspect I'll get pulled eventually...
Thanks,
Matt.

I have a Scorpion on mine.It is not that loud-after all it is a road legal silencer. Are you sure yours has not been tampered with by a previous owner?

My one says 'not for road use' on it and is LOUD. I've put it back on, I like cars to hear me before they see me, its safer.....which is the excuse that I'm sticking too...
I'm not sure the bike revs all that differently, perhaps its just that the sound that has altered.
When I have the cash I'll get it on a dyno, I suspect its beyond my ability to make it run at its optimum... and I doubt the carbs have ever been balanced.

Dyno won't balance your carbs unless you pay for it.
Balancing carbs will make the bike idle smoother.
At WOT (Wide open Throttle) it won't make any difference!
Changes to jets / pilots etc will though and that is something you can determine / check with dyno runs :)
