couple of hybrid questions

Post by bubbadel » Sat Jun 26, 2010 6:27 pm

serious work started today on my hybrid, ploblem is the radiator, it won't fit, held it up in place best i can but it won't fit into the top rubber mount, making brackets for the lower mounts is easy, not so up top though, it would fit ok without the fan, but would it overheat easily? How have you got round this? Also i saw somewhere the wire colour codes for splicing the 600 cdi into the 400 loom, anyone know?

Leave the fan off.
You'll need to space the tank shroud up by 20mm as the airbox sits higher.

Your using the 3HE engine ??? The sprokets will need to be jiggled if you've got the 4JH

I have a 3en2 and fitting the 3he engine. Won't the engine overheat without the fan fitted, i ride round london a lot, but rarely get stuck in traffic

some people have thought about trying to comper fans but the reality is the fan only cuts in if the bike is standing for a long time. The fan isn't going to pull that much air.

I'm in Euston if you want to pop over
