Clutchless gearchanges nc21

Post by smudge72 »

Hi,

I've not had the bike for long and am still getting to know it. Are clutchless up changes likely to be a problem for this bike? A mate told me old honda boxes wont like it very much, but it seems fine to me and clutchless changes make sense when riding a bike with such a wide rev range.

Thanks,

Matt.

I guess it depends whether you are smooth or not.

I use clutchless up the box when I am going fast and sometimes both ways when on track.

At the end of the day the gearbox is going to be old and tired - so be nice to it ;)

If you are a smooth rider with a little sympathy for your machine then you can do clutchless UPWARD changes.I can even do them on an old BMW
