sp1/cbr600rr calipers, improvements?
I have searched the forum a few times for this but I still have a general question.
How much improvement would you get by upgrading your stock front calipers to a SP1/CRB600RR please?

You'll get some shiny new calipersgonzothegreat wrote:I have searched the forum a few times for this but I still have a general question.

But the main improvement is just down to calipers that haven't seen 20 years of rain, hail and shine. Plus it's cheaper than rebuilding your standard calipers. Win, win I reckon.

They have slightly better feel then the nc30 calipers, but you could probably put that down to age.
Both are similar for outright stopping power - it will depend more on your pads and tyres choices than the calipers.
I put some on becuase it was cheaper than replacing all seals and pistons in the nc calipers.

Ideally you qill also get a matching m/c and new braided lines (as NC30 lines do not fit and the NC m/c is not the right size)
The brakes are great..but it is not quite as easy as getting some and bolting them on..
