Re: Another RVF thread!
I can get one to you in a couple of weeks if you are still stuck then, as I mentioned before though you'll have to use the original seat base or rig up something similar yourself. It'll also need painting so may be less hassle to get one from pyramid. Let me know if have any luck.RVFHooligan wrote:No, not yet.Carlos wrote:Did you manage to source a seat cowl yet Jeff?

OK, thanks Carlos.
I ordered some new right angle valve stems, they were the only size available, seemed like standard size, but they are too small. I need the bigger ones to fit the 11.3 mm / .453" holes on the NC rims. Search continues...............

With the pyamid cowl you will still have to paint it.
Jeff, I might have a solution for you about the cowl. I'll let you know shortly.

Made from high grade, space age, HRC, aircraft, aluminum with high speed Formula1 black coating! Think of the weight savings and reduction in rotating masses! Easily worth 2-3 seconds off my best lap times!
I didn't get them for the bling factor, it was just the only ones I could find in the proper size. Who knew?
Damn grey market import bikes.
The old ones were the push in rubber mushroom style and I had to cut them out because they were old, dried out and hard. Same goes for the front & rear master cylinders, the rubber boots are dried and cracked so the only way to get new ones is to get a complete rebuild kit.
