Weight of the rear wheel in 5,5" x 17" is 3,45kg. (Aluminium)

CBR400RR rear wheel disk - 6kg
Sprocket carrier\hud - 2kg
Brake rear rotor - 0,7kg

excellant so far micheal, but i have a few questions.
if your race bike is still getting built, what are you using to race or has that taken a back seat until it's finished ?
and how is the road bike going ?, i remember seeing it as a bare frame when you got the race bike frame powder coated black..

thats pritty irelevant really as the cbr has a twin sided swinger so the wheels are completly different, to compair ud need to weight the wheel hub sprocket carrier and disk of the rvf also to compair rotating and unsprung weightsPARUS wrote:That's cool.
