Putting in a new head fairing
Hi. Has anyone ever tried to put a head fairing from Yamaha YZF600r into FZR400? I found this picture on the internet and must say it looks real nice.

That top fairing is from a ThunderCat the 600R has the two Foxeye lights.
Lots of people mess about with bodywork and to be honest .... it all looks a bit naff. When you see it in a picture it might be ok from one angle but then not really work from another. Finally when you consider the time and effort involved it's not worth it. Have a look at how high the bars are for a start ....
I realise this is the first big bike and you probably want it to be a MotoGP M1, but it isn't and the money you'll spend on it trying to get it looking that way as I said before can be better spent somewhere else, or just put into saving for a better bike.

Re: Putting in a new head fairing
Well am not trying to make it look differently, as I ilike the way it looks now but if that didn't involve much work to fit one lik this I would love to put it on as it always make some difference.

The Thundercat is formally called the YZF600R, the foxeye model was the FZR600R. Unless you're in the states when both were YZF's.Evilchicken0 wrote:That top fairing is from a ThunderCat the 600R has the two Foxeye lights.
