GSXR Build
Hey Guys, I'm a new (again) member, used to be on here when I had my first GK73A, many moons ago, have since had a hornet 6, and now a well tricked K7 750 which I take great pleasure in.
I remember speaking with GSXR_racer from the states (remember I sent you some bits over the water).
I'm looking to start a new project tho....
I still have a spare GK73A frame, and would like to build a trackbike from it.
I know I would need EVERYTHING, to build it from scratch, but got a few ideas on mods and looking for help with ideas and indeed any parts (especially an engine!!!), but mostly I'm looking to draw on people's knowledge.
Use my 73A frame
braced 73A swingarm
76A 17" rear wheel
upside down front end conversion (anyone know if any later bike front ends will fit into the frame, obviously would need to change yokes too) - this would also allow better brakes and adjustability
GSXR750 K7 race fairings and altered subframe/fairing stay to suit.
some cheap ass fairing protectors
would run total loss ignition
if anyone would like to donate any gash bits lying about, Iid happily pay postage and put site sponsor logo's on the fairings....
At the moment, it's a likely to go ahead idea, but the missus doesn't know yet
my current 750..

Cheers, Kev.
