Honda dealer for mail order parts
Anyone recommend a Honda dealer for ordering 89 NC30 (Jap) parts? Just the stuff that isn't listed by David Silver or Wemoto like exhaust studs, sub air cleaner etc.

Go to akhara.com on google get the parts numbers you need and just phone Dave Silvers up and give them the parts numbers its easy or even easier, just search on Dave silvers by parts number!

Hi Mate,
You may already realise but in case you haven't...
On the David Silver web site if you search "by bike model" you more than likely won't find all the parts you need.
If however you search by "part number" you may find more parts available or that can be supplied in a few days.
I only discovered this the other day
Graham.

Re: Honda dealer for mail order parts
David Silver Spares will be able to get anything you want.
lings.com is one of the main Honda Dealers, I believe DSS gets their parts from there.

^^ Above is the Microfiche for the NC30, if you click on what you need you'll get the PART number, put this onto David Silvers or lings and serach by part number. (don't use Dashes)
Lings / DSS are about the same price, sometimes DSS will be cheaper if they have NOS / Japanese sourced parts instock, always best to check both :)

Re: Honda dealer for mail order parts
Thanks guys.
I had noticed when searching on David Silver's site that if you search by part number you find more stuff but I figured they only get it from a Honda dealer themselves so I may aswell cut out the middle man. I'll give Lings ago this weekend then.

Yes they get most of their non-stock items from lings.Johnny Wishbone wrote:Thanks guys.

As I mentioned before though its' always worth checking both, especially on small items as DSS often has cheaper postage.
DSS also buys many items direct from Japan and NOS from bankrupt / other sources so sometimes have parts in at discouted prices, for example the rear bearing for the swingarm hub Koyo 9608RS comes to mind (could be wrong

As DSS keep a large selection of parts in-stock.. anythign else is usually lings :)
