Homemade FZR Bike stand
made this up a few years ago, ive used it countless times, it allows me to lift the bike and remove both wheels,
with the help of a small bottle jack, supporting the front (under exhaust down pipes)
or lift the front or back wheels from the centres! < for maintenance or cleaning!
cost me £10 to make, and is well worth it!
the two pin are conrods from diesel engine, so very hard steel! and it can be lifter higher or lower!
just thought you guys might be interested! let me know what you think! or if anyone needs one made!
its custom made to suit the 3tj, and havent tried lifting an other bike

Re: Homemade FZR Bike stand

these are up before, somewhere! think fzr gallery or something?
one is number 25 of 100 made, imported in uk ofiicial for holomgation for racing TT, etc
think it is same colours as sidecar outfit who race at TT, have no history for this? anyone any info, think it is
Bell yamaha Racing
the other is 1 of 500, produced, white and purple, < this ones still for sale! pm if interested!
the stands: i didnt mind making one for myself,
or if the place went crazy and something like 500 were ordered!!
but to make another 1, sorry but its not worth the hassle, asked an engineering crowd, they were gonna charge me £80 just to make it up! but they did seem pretty interested in the concept! dragons den anyone?
i dont know if its of any benefit over the (Abba stand)
