Aha you put a mph face on there? :S

As cammo said you don't do that lol.. it's either one or the other.

If you put a MPH face on you dont need the convertor.

If you put a convertor on there you leave the original KM/H face on... it slows the speedo cable down so what used to read at 80kmh is still 80km/h on the speedo dial but is actually 80mph! :D you just cross out KM/H on the speedo and put a MPH sticker over it.. job done :)

A MPH face will actually have the markings in different places to compensate for this face.. if you overlay the two dials 80km/h should be in the same place as 50mph on the mph dial.

Use whichever theres no detrimental effect on the NC24.

It can be benficial on the NC30/35 that are restricted at 180k as with a mph convertor on your speedo needle is never going to reach 180mph and trigger the limiter :D

And blueflame.. erm average nothing special.

tiny o-ring.. more than likely pilot screw.

Pilot screws look like this.

Pilot Screw -> Spring -> Small Washer -> Rubber O-Ring.

Check they all have them in :)

Ah problem solved!!! hehe!! You know I have stripped my carbs so many times now but I have NEVER noticed a spring or o ring but have seen the washers. Are they visable or are they right inside out of view?. What are the effects if these parts are missing?.

Can you tell me a good exhaust make to look at as I have only seen blue flame and scorpion cans. cheers away to look at my carbs .................... again!!!

Haha!

Well you can fit whatever you want if you get a link pipe (£30)

They should come out with the pilot screw but sometimes they get stuck in there.. especially the rubber o-rings.. they can be a right pita to get out

Looking at your picture of the carb screw I dont have any of those items on it and my pilot screw is totally different shape to yours mate. But all mine are the same and they are standard parts. Has some one changed my carb setup or what? Your picture has worried me mate as I took it to bits yesterday and none of the carbs had those springs, o rings and washers in them. Please advise!!!!!

Pilot screw - not to be confused with a pilot jet ;)

The pilot screw pictured above is located adjacent to where the carb body and float bowl meet.

Pilot jets are INSIDE the float bowels and are NON adjustable

The pilot screws which are adjustable are located on the outside of the carbutettors.

On the NC24 there on the inside 4 edges of the carbs about half way up.
