ressurected project .. thoughts ?
looks like this thing is going to be dragged out of my mates garage with a view to having something done with it in the near future ..

the bike is pretty much as it is in the pics, except the tail unit has been fixed and painted black, a single headlight fitted, and some nc-23 clocks are badly fitted.. using cable ties, and the tacho reads all wrong..
oh and the temp gauge was showing slightly hotter than the sun last time it was run.. but i have no idea if the engine is over heating, or if the gauge is just miss-reading.
rear shock has NO damping, front forks are soft as hell, the brakes are fine, the tyres perished and the wrong sizes..
seem to recall that we decided the forks are off a superfour ? or maybe an early CBR-6 ?
so um, worth it ? or get shot and buy something else ? he doesnt have much cash to throw at it, and it seems daft to get it all sorted and then find a good'un could have been bought for the same as this would fetch "as is" plus what it would need spending on it.

Write a list of what you need, people will soon chip in with spares they have and don't need, then maybe make a decision.
I love the CB-1 so I say fix it! It doesn't have to be stunning, but why not get it back on the road. You won't find a much better bike to ride through the winter. My dad used one last winter to save his blade, and then sold it. Now wishes he didn't!
