just confirming location of hoses...

is the top one for the expansion tank overflow and the bottom one that comes of the bottom of the air box?
and what pipes connect to the overflow on the carbs?

1) Looks like it but can't be 100% sure.
2) Nothing, the two pipes with clips on that are in that pic connect into the airbox though.

Yes, first one is the coolant overflow. The second one is either the tank breather hose, or the hose that connects to the side of the air-box. HTH

The 2 pipes that point downwards with the rubber band is the float tubes but they don't connect into anything. The 2 pointing right go into the sub-air filter on the back of the air-box. The one from the rear head feeds back into the air-box as well.
