RVF Front Brake caliper upgrade???
I've heard in the past about caliper upgrades for the NC35, off various models-SP1's,CBR600's, and certain fireblades for example. But just wondering if they fit straight on or is there any modifications to be done. Has anyone tried doing a conversion, does it have significant benefits ??

Strange you should mention it...
I've got a set of CBR600RR3 calipers for our NC35 trackbike[1], on advice of someone here who said the std master cylinder is a bit nasty with them also got a CBR900RRW/X master cylinder to go with it[2].
Calipers bolt straight on, takes different pads.
I've not actually fitted everything together yet and tried it to give a comparison though.

[1] Bought it as an NC30 with NC35 engine and loads of NC35 spares inc frame/swingarm etc but no forks or brakes.
[2] Just need a brake lever now!

Re: RVF Front Brake caliper upgrade???
After just trying it the NC30 lever fits the CBR900RRW/X M/C.
The CBR m/c is marked 5/8 (around 16mm), the NC30 one (which I believe is the same as the NC35) is marked 14.
Also while there are different part numbers for the RRW/X lever to the NC30/NC35 (and previous CBR6/9) the NC30 lever fits, looking at pictures (from http://www.patternparts.net ) and it looks to just be in the adjuster assembly.

Re: RVF Front Brake caliper upgrade???
Hi mate!
can't find any NC35 caliper pics from top view...so, I just wanna ask regarding the caliper cover.
Is this the correct place for the cover ?

btw, I'm using NC35 caliper on my NC29. When I buy the caliper, it comes without the cover. So I buy the cover separately.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, it only bolts on one way.zul_cbr wrote: can't find any NC35 caliper pics from top view...so, I just wanna ask regarding the caliper cover.

Re: RVF Front Brake caliper upgrade???
SP1 and Fireblade calipers fit strait on but I have to space the left hand calliper about 2mm off the leg to get it central on the disc.
