Check out US Fleabay for SP1 (RC51) calipers - there are usually a few on there for not too much cash.

Re: Fitting SP1 brake set up to an nc30
ive had a little look on ebay & have found a couple of cheap-ish sets of cbr600rr front calipers - same as the sp1 type.
item no: 180486953941 - they're in Spain but they're clean & the price aint bad.
& also item no: 250510980046 - these are in the US but again, they look clean.
im sure this will keep a couple of people happy.

I asked a mate what he could get hold of and he turned up a a pair Fireblade Nissin calipers and master cylinder/brake lever for me for £90. Obviously I still need the brackets from SES but I'm over the moon with the price.

I used the search option and I came across this thread and above post but I still have a question:Johnny Wishbone wrote:Is it possible to just run these calipers with the standard m/c? Thinking of doing the same conversion but I'm on a tight budget!
Also what calipers are compatible with the SES brackets as there aren't too many CBR600RR/SP1 Nissin calipers come up on ebay for sensible money and I was wondering if VTR1000 Firestorm Nissins fit and what year Fireblade Nissin calipers go on as I've found a pair that look similar to the SP1 pair, only silver not gold.
is there any difference in between the Silver calipers versus Gold calipers of the CBR fireblades? Or is it just the colour? Piston sizes similar...

Some of the silver calipers are for 310mm rotors... ask me how I know
I sold them....unless you have RC30 discs then be wary. Think RRX or RRY blades had them

Thx mate! I have a contact and he offered me both the silver and also the gold calipers...he has a handfull of these caliper sets, all varies from VTR firestorm, SP1, fireblade SC33, 600RR PC37. Will probably go for the gold ones to be save. I do know where to get a set of HRC RC30 discs but those are too pricey.
