Right hand side...HOT
My bike has been running Ok and for the past few days but it seems the right hand side of the top part of the engine is getting really really hot..
the temp gauge isnt reading overly hot but there is definitly something getting too warm on the rhs..
any ideas?
i would like to strip the bike down and give it a complete refresh but i dont know where to start or what i would need. how easy/difficault would this be for someone that isnt stupid, but not very mechanically minded

Coolant and oil levels okay ?
A compression test or visual inspection of the camshaft might be a wise move.

Where exactly do you mean?
You talking the engine or the frame? They get hot....like really hot. Hot enough to warm your hands through gloves in the coldest weather!
