another R6 shock conversion
ok so i have my 3en1 with a blown rear shock and the 06 R6 shock ready to go making some shorter dog bones and got spacers made for the top end . If i mount the shock with the reservoir facing forward as facing back im guessing its going to deffinately foul the swing arm bracing. Any idea what im going to have to take the grinder to in order to get that nice big reservoir not to hit any thing? thank any one.
ps i dont wanna change my swinger! I LIKE IT! if needs be may um refabricate it and get it reweld at work

Re: another R6 shock conversion
I seem to recall the res does touch the swinger on the 3en1. The quickes solution is to get a 3en2 swinger but if you want to cut and shut the bracing then it's up to you. Fit the shock at the top and raise the swinger then mark with a permanant marker then cut and shut.
Personally I wouldn't do it even though I'd guess the bracing is cosmetic judging from the straight swinging arms of the previous models.
