lol that doesn't make sense! :S

From what I can see from your pics, your missing the rubber grommet on the fuel tank, this holds the lug of the rear side-panel in place

What i mean about the 3 holes is if you look at the nose-cone in the pictures you have 2 holes for screws, theres one in the middle too, is this whats been patched over?

What battery do you have on that bike, it's wrong. You should have a 9 Ah VARTA 509 015 (YB9L-B, 12N9-3B) It's a lot taller

http://www.tayna.co.uk/VARTA-509-015-YB ... B-P28.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It should look just like that ^ ^ (Which incidentally is the same battery I use ;) ) I'm guessing you have some smaller sealed battery...

Bikes not looking bad at all though.. I have a lovely MTC Oval Stainless can & link pipe that'd suit your bike... ;)

Ya I need a rubber grommet. If you look at the pic with no fairings, you will see someone has made some kind of repair on the nose cone and filled the middle hole.

Cant remember, it's the Y something 7BS, I've seen it listed as standard before and my friend got it from the parts place as listed for my bike. It does the trick so I aint gonna worry too much.

This is 100% not listed as standard for the bike, it must have been a mistake. The batterys underpowered for the bike when compared to the standard one, ifthis has any negative effects I don't know.

Y/C TX7A-BS is the NC30 battery (6ah)

The NC24 uses a 9 Ah VARTA 509 015 (YB9L-B, 12N9-3B), i've just checked with wemoto and paul smeetons and they both list this as standard.

It also fits properly too. If its working ok and you've only just brought it then i wouldnt worry about it unless you have problems.

I guess the NC24 uses more power than the NC30/35 due to having the four coils and 60/55w headlamp as standard *shrug*

Your missing the toolkit and the cover for it unless you'd taken it out when you took the photos?

One thing i'd recommend is some braided hoses on the front, the lines look very much like the originals (20+ years old) Honda Reccomend changing the rubber every 6 years... so that probably means its ok for at least 10... 20 years and it's probably gone a bit weak / perished by now.

Yes the brakes do feel quite spongey!! I guess I can do these little jobs while saving for the exhaust.
