oem screen screws wtf?? NC35
Got 6 steel dome headed pins and 6 washers that will grip them from Honda. Are these a one way thing as in i'll have to break the screen to remove it? Surely not? The screen i have on it will be replaced when i find a decent one and dont wanna have to but new ones again!
Also i can hardly push the pin into the washer when holding them in my hand let alone around the newly painted nosecone- is there a trick to it??

get a screen mounting kit from Probolt here: http://www.tastynuts.com/Products/0003000e000c" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I got one for my NC30 screen, comes with colour coded alloy bolts and nuts.

Re: oem screen screws wtf?? NC35
To get the old rivets out I just used cutting pliers on the washer things. Saves the rivet part from damage. Putting the new washers on was a pain in the ass though. I had to think for a while and ended up using a tiny socket that just fit over top of the back of the rivet. Then kind of tapped it firmly a few times with a mallet to pop it over. I believe I just found the washer things that go over the rivets at the hardware store. Holding up nicely so far with the new windscreen. I find the bolt kits are overdoing it and look like shit. Washers cost like nothing...
