Are 400 carbs the same as 250 gixxer

Any one shed any light on the carb model on the gsxr250r all i know is it is a mikuni bst type. I measured the inlet section of the carb and get 29mm. It looks identical to the 400 picture on tony sleep webpage but not sure if the throttle is of different size. any help would be greatly appriciated as i also have the carb running issues. Hopefully it will be a nice bike after ive sorted the previous owner bodges out!!!

the gk76a runs 33 mm bd33 on the std and a bds35ss 35mm on the sp model if thats anything to go by
