Re: NC21 Carb Specs and Similarities with NC30
So basically the NC24 is just a better engined bike :D
Back to the thread..
The 400K is a training school bike.. I do have a parts book for one but it could be anywhere so can't comment on the specs of the carbs, there most likely different.
I'm going to say a lot of 'should' here as the bikes are 22+ years old now and its quite likely they've been messed about with so dont have standard jets / slides in them.
The 24 carbs should have 115's all around, the NC21 should have 110/112's front / rear.
They all have 35 pilot jets.
The NC21 Zg model has different emulsion tubes listed to the standard NC21 and NC21zh models.
The carbs are listed as
VDA0A(A) - NC21 VFR400RG / VFR400RG-YA / VFR400Zg
VDE2A(A) - NC21 VFR400Zh
VDE2C(A) - NC24 VFR400RH, VFR400RH2
VDE2C(E) - NC24 VFR400RJ3
fwiw.. the stock figures list all NC21/NC24 bikes as 59ps (60bhp)
