can i just change all my bulbs to uk spec without frying my electrics ?

No, you'll need to install a relay. Try a search, there shoudl be some info on here how to install one.

you can then get adapter rings to fit H4 bulbs on ebay
attention 2 detail - bike valeting and more

Cant believe halfords don't stock std relays anymore had to go to motor spares shop
