washers
well again lads,,wot size washers are needed to raise the carb needles,,the smallest i can get is m4 here were i am and there too big for the job and iv looked on ebay but i unsure on which ones to go for,,cheers for looking

0.5mm thickness cant remember what dia they are but their standard washers I think

needle washers 6.8mm OD 3.0mm ID X0.5 mm

@ HMplant - the crack is - and please forgive me - that if you have to ask then you don't want to do it!
There are too many people drilling slides, raising needles, changing jets etc without knowing why they are doing it.
however...
The needle height has a direct relation to the richness of the midrange - as it withdraws from the main jet at throttle opening then you can imagine that it starting from a higher status will allow a richer mixture lower down the revs.
