hello , i have been told told to remove my fuel tap (rvf400 track bike)and replace with a r6 fuel pump as in standard trim the bike is starved of fuel when on track does anyone know any more about this mod....also there is a mod for the airbox , have to make my own ram air system. ........ cheers

Unless you are getting starvation then don't modify the tap.

However, if you want ram air you'll need a pump. It is a ballache to set it up though..some tried and reverted back to a more normal setup. Others bought known working systems and saved the hassle..

What is the bike setup like now?

you only need a fuel pump if your doing ram air, if its just normal airbox modds and your getting fuel starvation then you should do the HRC mod to the tap, but put a dry break between the tank and carbs or dont forget to switch the tap to off when ur not using it
