could use some pictures of a NC24 shock/linkage/swingarm

Post by saber63 »

Hey all, been awhile, saddly the project that im working on still hasnt come to a close (funny how that works)

and well i coudl really use some help! if any one has some good side pictures of the swingarm linkage dogbone and shock area it would be REALLY helpfull!

also if any one has the dimensions of the linkage (from hole center to hole center, dont need thickness ) that would also be a huge help!

HUGE thanks to anyone and everyone! :D

p.s. for the currious

the bike im building has frame designed by me, a K6GSXR600 front end with busa rotors. K4CRF450R motor, NC24 swingarm, Delkevic NC30 16" wheel with PP2ct tire, and a custom axle hub etc.... (soon to also have custom sprocket carrier) pics of the some of the VFR400 stuff below.

That is actually pretty awesome. I like it!

Using an NC30 rear wheel?

I can take any pictures and measure whatever you need :) I'll be home tomorrow so if anybody hasn't done it i'll get you the information you need :)

AWESOME!!! thanks man! probably the best way to do it is to snap a picture from either side showing the swingarm pivot, shock mount, dogbone mount, and complete linkage, and i can mark on it what i need measurements for, that way theres no confusion

yeah 16" NC30 wheel :) running a 160/60 on the rear, and i can get slicks for it if i want  i was thinking about a VFR750 wheel with the NC24 axle.... but after realizing how much it weighed... and that it had a load spec close to what a car would use.... (and my dad said it looked like a honda car axle....... i wondered.......) so i made up a new axle that was only abit less strong (i don't plan on doing to many 2up wheelie jumps  ) and the smaller rear fits the bike better, and let me keep the thing narrower. and ~$200 shipped for a never used wheel.... cheaper then most the VFR wheels i found :?

i also grabbed a 600RR rear shock as that was the cheapest and easiest to find state side that would fit the stock linkage. came with a free linkage and dogbones that i could try using if i needed to!

once i get my build log updated a fair amount more, ill post a link up! right now it s a few months behind.... lol.

Thanks again man!
