i've looked on ebay and the like, and sp1's and 2's are quite cheap now. considering they are the last evolution of the rc45 (kind of)
i've seen some with sato racing exhaust on youtube and they sound lush

I know, very good value for money IMO. I paid £3100 for mine although it does need a lower replaced which might happen soon.

mate thats a bargain, from what i've seen in the photo's it looks basically pristine. apart from what you said bout the lower.
and it has the akra's on it.
i'd say a solid v twin, thats quick good looking and has alot of street cred for under 4000grand
thats just a plain bargain.
im gonna start saving now.

It is in pretty good condition, I have the standard pipes and pillion seat too.
I can't rate the bike highly enough. I've fitted a Power Commander, to smooth the injectors out a little, but that's it. It pulls like a train and stops a little quicker than one!
The only real issue is that the more you ride it, and you will want to ride it lots, is the fact you have to keep filling it up! (It's no tourer and the mpg isn't great, but that's not what it's about now is it?!)

Get saving and buy one.

A little update. (No, it's not for sale! )

Titax levers ordered. (Now received)
New left lower fairing ordered from Honda (Was fitted and now needs replacing after incident with a BMW 1 series!)
Carbon swingarm covers ordered from the states.(Hmmm carbon...)

I guess that's what happens when you sell a bike, you spend the cash!!

Pictures to follow very soon...

Now fitted some ASV levers...much much better than the Titax ones I had previously.

Don't start anyone, Paul especially, thinking of parting with the old girl.

I know most folk on here return NC's and the like to standard and then sell the bits, would you say to do the same with this? I have a standard exhaust system which is still like new, any carbon bits can be removed etc.

Thoughts please...
