Turns out my multimeter doesnt have AC volts lol.

I did get resistance between them though of 0.3.

you are not supposed to get resistance... time to visually check the genny I reckon.

Thanks for the help lads, my old mans just pulled a favour at the local bike shop and they said there gonna have a quick check for us before i start pulling everything apart lol.

Got it sorted now, all the readings were fine. Problems were traced to the wires to the regulator which have now been done, thanks for all the help :rocks:
