I think you need to get rid of the standard rear brake res.
A hrc item would tidy that up no end.

there are a lot of little things i want to change, like the rear brake res. i also want to change the gearing so i loose some top end but have a faster acceleration, rear wheel to a 17" so i have far more tyre choices and other bits but it is all coming down to cost now.
so long as i can get her road legal as close to the wedding as i can then i will be happy. then i can start improving on the design

not much to see in the way of changes today but thought it would be good to keep the thread up to date. i have re-assembled all of the body after replacing the clutch plates.

so i thought it would be good to photo her next to my blade to see how she has progressed from early shots in the same position..

what you cant see from the pictures is that i have fixed the speedo so i know will have an idea how fast i am going, put the correct bulb in to the correct postion in the idiot lights holder, so no longer does my oil read as neutral and my neutral go out when the engine is started.
my next job will be the electrics, so all four indicators work without causing the rear light to flash in unison, re-attach the ignition unit so i am no longer starting her with a screw driver! & the front brakes want attention as well.
i keep meaning to get a video up on here of her ticking over and going around the close, will attempt to do this tomorrow!

I have looked throught this thread very fast and not read all but are you going to do anything about the seat side fairing meeting the tank whree it dont match up.

i have been working on her since my last up date but nothing really has changed that i can show in pictures. i have been improving the fairing fit in places, up'd the jets to 120 all round ( though i may change the rears bigger yet )
i have installed the heated grips for the wife, finished modding the loom for the extra bits i have added, really just refining a lot of the work.
i have finished the rear fairing today ( fitting wise ) and now have the fairings where they meet the tank to work on, i have done a bit more work to the side fairings again to improve the look and the front fender.
hoping i can have her mot'd in about 3 weeks, but funds are tight due to the electric window on the car snapping and making a huge mess inside the door and breaking the central locking as well!
i will try to get a 'walk round' video up on you tube soon, i only put a quick 10 second vid up to show the folks on here i have manged to sort the fueling and now have had private messages and ones left on the video itself from people who like what i have done. it is now over 700 hits which i find shocking as theres nothing really to see but people seem to like what i am attempting.
will try and get some more pictures up on sunday on my day off.

looks good man. Think the 120 jets are far too big. standard pipework, would recommend 112 as a start.

it is standard pipe work, but im running a laser tri oval can that is shorter than standard and VERY free flowing inside. it had 115/118 to start ( nc30 not 35 ) with when i got her and added the race can and this was just no good. i was going to try other options but i took a punt a on a cheap set of carbs mis-listed on ebay.hannakournikova wrote:looks good man. when they arrived they had 120's all round and i thought 'i can only try them' put them in and she ran beautiful, pulled all the way through the rev's with ease once warm. i am only thinking of maybe trying slightly bigger or maybe altering the needles height wise slightly as she is a bit 'groggy' when you first start her. she needs a good 6-10mins before she pulls all the way through the revs.
when i helped rusty with his, he had a scorpion can & 120's all round and she even when started from cold would pull through the revs even with the choke on.

HRC carbs come with 146+ jet sizes...

120/122 will be pretty rich as standard I reckon.
My race bike runs a full system but standard airbox/filter and is sweet as a nut on 120/120
