NC30 Rearsets

Hi All

Looking to replace the standard rearsets on the bike as starting to look very tatty and after while on the road the pegs will start to come loose again.

Have seen the £99 ones on ebay, has anyone had bought these or had any experience of them???

Also with buying none std rear sets will I need to buy a banjo brake pressure switch? (double or single?)

if you mean the "race supplies direct" rearsets ,., i've got some on the zxr, and they are ok .. not exactly sexy/bling, more racer-chic .. lol ..

Im going to drill and polish my standard rearsets and get some oberon tapered pegs, then they will look rally fancy but if i droop the bike i wont have messed up some expensive sets, and its cheeper

at 100 quid new, the RSD ones are cheaper than OE if you cant find good secondhand ones, and stronger too with pegs that dont flip up.

Only problem is you don't get enough ground clearance with the standard rearsets.

The RSD are ok, nothing fancy but do the job. Mine needed some small mods to get them to fit properly.

Can i just jump in and ask if anybody has Diamond fully adjustable rearset £175.00 and what they think about them.
I'm also looking at getting some rearsets for my NC30 and have been looking at these or SES ones £225.

Its alot of money for parts on your bike, and would like your comments on which ones you prefer and why, so i can make a proper decision based on actual testimonials.

I've been doing some serious research over the last couple of weeks into rearsets after a little accident with mine
I've found a couple of options that you may find useful -

SES sets that are available from Rick Oliver. There are various options for these (road, race etc) and Rick sells the bits for brake assembly etc, plus lots of spare parts available should you have an arguement with the tarmac!!

WR sets that are available from Japan - I've been told these are very good and well respected on the Jap market (try an ebay.com search..) apparently they are better than SES and tyga but this is just an opinion given to me

Tyga sets - we all know about these i expect (tyga-performance)

Think I might go for the SES ones due to availability of spares and the build quality looks good!

I have these on my bike.

I'm pretty happy with them but it is a bit hard to get extra parts for them gear levers etc.

After some mulling over I have decided to go for WR's as recomended. The brake master cylinder can be re-fitted without mods etc. The only downside is having to be delivered from Japan.
Lets hope Royal Mail don't mess things up or charge a nice high customs.

Hope they will look and be the dogs on the bike
