NC30 rev limit

Post by banoffee » Sat Mar 13, 2010 6:56 pm

Thoughts on what it should be set to? (stock internals, ignitech box, HRC map). I'd set it to 14,500 to be safe but now wondering...

Just had quick look at a few articles ive got on the NC30. It says 14500 is optimium revs for maximum power. So i guess its just a question of how accurate is the module limiter and your clocks!!

But apparently they will rev to 16000!! unless somebody else has conflicting info!!

I seem to remember Aly telling me one of his going bang around the 15k rpm mark

Id say 14500 would be best

my nc30 revs to 15,500rpm & its fine - no issues - oil changes every 1000 miles & alot of pampering is all they need.

Peak torque is between 12,000 - 13,000. Why set it to 15,500

Slightly off topic, but Alex were you and your VFR featured in Visors Down mag (think it was) recently? Someone shoved a 400grey feature under my face and thought I recognised the name.
