NC24 Questions

Post by DOTCOM »

Hi All,

First proper post! Have been using the search function with no joy, but apologies if these have been answered here already:

The engine oil level on the NC24, do you check it with the dipstick just sat in (& not screwed in) like the NC30?

Are the NC24 mirrors different to the NC30s? I think the bolt centres are different? Any recommendations for what/where to buy?

Cheers

The centres are different as you say, I've just ordered some with adjustable centres from Gavin at Jap4performance. If you contact him for further details I'm sure he will send you some pics.
Cheers

Unscrew it, wipe it clean, with the bike level (not on the stand) rest it on the hole and pull it out.

click this image for picture of how to do it.

Image from V4power (and relates to an NC30) but the procedure is identical.

The original mirrors have been discontinued but you can get plenty that fit off ebay.
