front sproket removal

jesus i cant shift that bloody bolt , im now worried that im gunna round the bastard off, 14ml socket just seems to be a tad to much play and the nearest imperial socket i have is just the same, i take it it's anti clockwise to remove it like all bolts in general, any tips on shifting this bugger , new chain and sprokets and id like to be able to do the lot and not have this nearly worn front one buggerin my new chain

Longer breaker bar or an impact gun.

Just put a 14t on mine.....
Impact wrench, in gear and foot on rear brake, took a bit of elbow grease but off it came!

yea i use a impact gun to be fair makes life easy but as said m8 breaker bar and throw in gear

14mm scocket, breaker bar and a 1m length of inch sprinkler pipe just for a little more leverage.

works a treat

done and done , cheers guys , long tube (stolen from my boys old scooter handlebars) and a good pull sorted it , surprising how things always work when you come back to them the next day
