Evenly matched race for 2nd-5th, but who, where, and what was the first place rider?! Didn't see him in any of the shots after the first lap. Damn silly motard was all over the track, back and forth, side to side, just getting in your way.

Venom, post up some pics and details of your bike.

OK, thanks, it looks like you were going into T3 in 5th at 13,800 rpm at 123 mph the first few laps (or was that the problem with the gear shift indicator?), and then towards the end you were in 6th gear at 13,200 rpm at 126 mph. Was or is that she's got? What gearing do you run at RA and RR? Have you been to Barber? Daytona? Moroso? Homestead? Trying to figure out what gearing to run for my bike since those are the tracks I want to be hitting up in the next 1-2 years. Mostly Jennings though, I've done Daytona before but I don't think the RVF will do well there without super tall gearing and a tail wind all the way around the high banks.

15-40 is stock for VFR. 15-38 is stock for RVF. Hmmmmmmmmm?

Are you racing at the Jennings July or August dates? Let me know, I'd like to come up and check it out.

If you notice in the vid description I mention the gear indicator losing it's mind. That however has no effect on gearing or speed.

I run a 15/42 at Jennings. It is not what I would consider perfect yet as I have to short shift in the 10-11 complex to keep it off the limiter and that kills my drive out of 11. I am going to try a 41 next trip and see what happens.

I'll be down at Jennings for the 8/9-10 WERA round.

Road Atl I run a 15/38.
Roebling is a 15/38.
Barber is a 14/41
Tally is a 14/42

No info on Daytona,Moroso or Homestead.
