engine swap, - nc29 for nc23

Post by Matchlessman » Fri Feb 19, 2010 9:01 pm

One of my mates that runs a small bikeshop and knows his stuff has an nc29 engine sat doing nothing on a shelf in his workshop.

weve been talking about stripping my second engine for my triarm and making it a bit better and Alex is thinking of taking the head off the 29, playing with it, and then putting it on the 23. There may be issues with the exhaust on this, we havent got into the nittygritty of what fits, but i know that anything below the cylinderhead is a no no.

my views are that selling the 29 engine and getting a 23 engine to play with would be a lot better. Has anyone got a semi decent triarm engine that they would swap for a 29 engine, or bits of a 23 engine (decent cylinderhead pistons and bottomend, no ancillaries) It seems stupid to split what was a good running engine.

cheers

We can do this for you - I have several Tri Arm Engines - from a truy excellent standard unit that made good power - to one that is cranky.

We need an NC29 engine ATM so a deal is there to be done.

Email directly with a contact number and we can sort something out.

Many thanks
