Help needed! Need some measurements please!

Post by robbiemturbo »

Help! Should be picking up an nc30 Friday (wahay!!!) but now can't get a van so gotta strip the bike down some to get it in a people carrier. Can anyone out there measure their nc and give me the measurement diagonally from the headstock to the end of the swingarm? Bit of a strange request I know bu the plan is to remove the forks and rear wheel to fit it in the car (should be fun!) thanks in advance to anyone that can help!!

Whereabouts in the country are you? You may find some charitable soul on here with a van or a bike trailer that may be able to help for cost of fuel

I've had an NC delivered to me in the back of a Mondeo. It had the forks off and the wheels..so you have no worries.

As has been said - where you at? Easier to get something sorted for delivery rather that dismantle the thing before you get a go on it.

people carriers are fairly long, i would have thought with the seats out ,and the front wheel removed it should fit.

Thanks for all the advice guys, sounds like I should be able to get it in ok. All the back seats just clip out, just wanted the measurement to see if I needed to remove the front passenger seat. Stripping the bike down needs to be done anyway as it's been sitting for about 5 years (project)! Had an nc30 myself about 6 years ago, sold it, started a family and that was that! But the biking bug has bitten again and this nc has come up real cheap so can't wait to get back on an nc again!!! Plan to do a bit of a before and after work in progress thread with photos.

Ok got the bike in no probs, just pushed it up a board into the back went straight in! So I'm now the very proud owner of an nc30 again! Was gonna put some pics up, how do you do that?
