so the r6 reg rec will that just plug n play or will i need to do some tinkering

Tinkering. But its hardly rocket science! EVERYONE seems to be putting R6 regs on bikes... CBR's, VFR's and everythign in between :DChowderV4 wrote:so the r6 reg rec will that just plug n play or will i need to do some tinkering
If you get a Reg/Rec with the plug and some wires on it you can cut your existing wires and solder the R6 Plug onto it. Or if you just get the Reg/Rec on its own you can cut the Honda plug off and solder some spades on and use the spades (I do this)
Remember to solder the spades / wires though as they carry high ampage and any weak connection will cause it to get really hot.

Only 5 wires anyway.. 3 from Generator and 2 for power
