Well...an update on the Ti system that I picked up.

not sure how much of an update as I have not got my camera...but it seems I might be the proud owner of an RC30/45 st of ti twin stackage..

They are not going on the '30 -no way. Front headers are too long and when located in the collars they do not work at all.

I sprung it all together and placed it side by side with the system that I've just taken off..prob 8-10 inches longer.

I have been sent an aftermarket RC36 system in error before and it is nothing like.

So, I guess I'll be getting rid of these and am going to be in the market for some more pipes. I am pissed off on the one hand that I have a bike with no pipes on and a lack of ti twin stack action..but I have a full ti system for sale to our RC30/45 brethren (as long as I get a good ID on it)

Anyone want to sell me some pipes? cheap Gav? Seeing as I have the collars already ;)

Mark, im sure the guy you brought that off sent me pics of the system fitted to his NC????? I dont doubt you for one minute in your measurement but that does seem odd. Could the system not be cut and rewelded to shorten it? be a shame to lose a full TI system.

yeah...thanks Geoff.. :ninja:

I could be tempted but depends if I can get ID on the system I have and flog it. I checked ebay for ti RC30 systems...and there was only 1 - for £1100..shazzam!

I need to flog this one and then go from there. Mild steel might have to be put on the race bike as I reckon the no9 would prefer the hiperform system.

I'll have another good look at it when I come visit next mate..is it oiff the bike yet??
