The above thead covers the different options for for digital dashes, the Cbr600rr option looks great but is not without its problems, the first is soucing a clockset without HISS - for this you will have to buy from the USA or Canada.

Re: Rileys Nc30 special
My special is no more! I still have a stack of parts, infact I could just about rebuild it with spares I have in the workshop if I so desired. The bike should be popping up in a couple of publications in the following months, and to soften the blow, I bought this.

...and the next day I did this.

My mates Cr250 framed Cr500!

Absolutely love it, I've not ridden off road in a long time but I am more than happy with my decision, a bike I can use regardless of the weather - it does help that i have a fair few mates who are into enduro and motocoss too.

Not quite as clean as your NC30 was.
Excellent way to spend your money!

Re: Rileys Nc30 special
It is a shame in many respects but that said I could always build another one if I so desired - I've learnt what works and what doesn't largely through trial and error as well as the sound advice from this and the previous forum (I've owned an nc30 since 2001).
The new bike is a 2002 Ktm Exc200 autolube, its been very well cared for and has pretty much all of the sensible mods done already, sump guard, clutch guard, rebuilt suspension, power valve turned down a touch (many people don't realise that this can be done on the 200s as the power delivery can be a little viscious), Doma pipe, the bike also has 2005 bodywork and in my fortnight of ownership I've added a 2005 front light and surround, and a new set of polaris hand guards. Its currently running S12s but I will be removing these and keeping them for mx practice tracks only as they will just get ruined if they are used on the roads (plus that would be a tiny bit illegal....I think). I absolutely love it, took it out the next day after buying it to a mx practice day having not ridden off road for 14 years, which was interesting but great fun. I've basically got to learn how to ride all over again, I've been riding sports bikes for last 11 years and riding a litre sports bike is a piece of piss not in the slightest bit intimidating but this 200 is terrifying (in a good way!). I like to try to learn how to do new things in many ways its like when I started snowboarding after skiing for years, the learning curve is steep but very rewarding.
