NC30 FORKS - HELP!

Post by force-v4 »

Im a bit pissed off while writing this so please bare with me.

PLEASE HELP!

I need an NC30, late type, very good sanction or a fork leg - i dont care about the lower as long as the sanction is clean as a new whistle!

im currently in the middle of stripping my beloved 94' NC30 for some winter love & care & have decided to have the forks rebuilt.
so after speaking to a few people & the odd muppet, ive finally got around to taking the forks out, no problem.

got the old chrome polish out to clean the sanctions prior to me stripping the forks & pulling the bottoms off for powder-coating & realised that 1 of my sanction is ever so slightly bent / kinked, right on the lower yolk clamp edge.
when you run you hand up & down it, you can feel the indentation of the bend.
the other side has clearly been replaced with another leg so not so thats a bonus but now ive got bent sanction!

ive got a spare pair of forks but they are pitted to fook & are only on the bike to hold it up + they are the early type anyway.

are the sanctions sided??? i cant see it myself but i suppose anything is possible.

Cheers, Colin.

I'm sure I remember David Silvers were selling stanchion at a good price a little while ago, I'd give them a go. :up:
I couldn't see them on DS but wemoto have them;

Not cheap though...
