Pic request, NC29 Fairing mounting points
Guys, not sure if anyone can help.
I'm after close up photo's of where the fairing mounts to the NC29.
At the bottom, side, and top mounts.
I'm pretty sure i'm missing the spacers / mounting lugs, and want to see what i need in order to mount the new fairings when i get them.
Thanks in advance.
Dan.

For which fairing piece? Bellypan, seat unit or nose cowling?

If it helps check out page 3 of the exhaust thread as that clearly shows the mounting points for the lower belly fairing on my bike. The mid fastens to the lower with zeus fasteners and two trim clips, one to the air vent trim and one to the nose fairing. The nose is fastened centre front and two trim clips on a bracket under the headlamps and finally your mirror stay

I had a look in the exhaust thread....it looks like im not missing anything, looking at the pics in there.
The fairings must use a rubber washer or something to mount onto the points though?? Am i right?
Its the side farings which i thought i might have the problems.

Hi Dan, for the belly you need the side bolts, no rubber mounts, can be ordered from David Silver or try Mr France, 3 per side, these are wide at the head to hang the fairing on, hence the big holes in the fairing and smaller thread in the mounting points, you can use any bolt though, such as a roofing screw with a wide head if money is tight. Also some bolts for the front and rear bottom of the fairing but anything can be added here as long as it fits, just add some big washers either side to stop it cracking the fairing.

For the side you need 6 plate spring clips and 6 zeus type studs with 4 body clips, the body clips can be bought off ebay a bit cheaper.
6x 64508KV3000 clips

4x 90683GR1003 clips
Best if you can get a parts fiche so you can see better what you need or got to CMSNL here for more info.

Saved me going to the shed with the camera Durka.
It would have taken me about a week to put a picture on the computer, transfer it to photobucket then pin it up on here
